Stress affects weight loss by raising cortisol levels and is also responsible for ..............
- Weight Gain around the mid section
- Increased stroke risk
- anxiety
- headaches
- fatigue
- increased hunger cravings especially for starchy/sugary foods
So why does any of this matter? There is no way you can manage your stress along with everyhing else in your life, right? Wrong!! Trust me, coming from a place where I worked three jobs and went to school full time I know all to well the complications of stress. So I took it into my own hands and instead of pretending my body was not slowly breaking down, I did some research. While some things kind of worked and other things were a waste of money, one herb in particular changed my life. HOLY BASIL!!! This herb is an adaptogen, which means it helps the way in which your body responds to stress. It has been around for over 3,000 years and is used all over the world. I am a firm believer that many antecdotes to ailments are siting right in nature. Anyhoo I wanted to share this amazing herb with my clients and now you.
What did people notice after taking holy basil?
Many of my clients experienced 5-6 pounds of fat loss just by implementing 400-800mg of holy basil in their daily routine. They also noticed less sleep disturbances and more energy throughout the day. You see when your body is not in a constant fight or flight mode, it has a chance to actually enjoy the things around you. For anyone who is trying to find balance and struggling to lose weight I would 100% reccomend this herb. Of course if you are taking any perscription drugs check with your physician before starting this regime.
I know howdifficult life can get, and I know millions of people are frustrated with the lack of time they have for themselves. Just remember your body will eventually take time for itself if you dont do it first. We must address the physicial, emotional, spiritual, and mental aspects of our lives to fully encompass the definition of health. Watch the video above to hear more about what I have tosay regarding stress and your fitness journey! Remember you can always ask me a question and I will always give you the truth. Stay Strong my friends! @TheFitnezAmazon
