DAY 11/12: Support from Others!

Well it is almost two weeks in and I have had my ups and downs as I am sure you have too! The hardest part would have to be doing cardio when at the end of my workday or eating healthy in the middle of the night. In this blog I wanted to address the issue of support from, family, friends, and other fitness minded people..............

In one instance it is important.......but in another it is not. Some people may think your goals are to be too skinny or you look too muscular. Some people may put down the way in which you do things and your methods in working out. At the end of the day this is your journey and you will either make it or you will not. The support we should hold onto are those who uplift you and challenge you to help keep you on the right track. Those who believe in what you believe and strive to be better as you do.

I have been told once or twice I am too muscular or I need to relax and not push myself so hard. Fitness is definitely a different mindset, and unfortunately we live in a time where we have to motivate ourselves to be healthy. We are surrounded with unhealthy food, fancy movie stars, and a stigma that skinny is perfect. There is nothing wrong with wanting to be healthy and promoting this in your life, but do so in the right way for you!

The other day I had someone post on my blog about how, "I should be a fitness professional and not act so cliche. Dipshit." At first I laughed because I am so far from cliche its ridiculous, and second I was slightly annoyed. Before you let anyone judge you or speak negative to you, hold your ground and love what your doing. If anyone applauds you for your success and progress, it is me. I hope you have an awesome day, and for all of you who watch the fight have fun and be safe :)
