DAY 10/11: Exercises for Fat Loss?

Hey Hey Hey........so as you know I go to school and finals are the next couple weeks. I did have a glass of wiue the other night but I was proud to not have drank the whole bottle. A lot of times people venturing off on new fitness programs think there is no room to eat or drink not so good foods. In actuality, you deserve those every now and then.  Like I have said before it all comes down to counting your calories and watching your macros. I know its repetitive, but I could say it a 1000 times and some people still will not do it.

So among following a good nutrition plan and cheating every now and then. what exercises are good for fat loss? To be blunt, just plain high intensity movement is good for fat loss. Remember calories in v calories out? Yea its an actual science :) BUT if I had to pick one it would be..................STABILITY TRAINING!
















 

Stability training is my go to when weight loss/leaning out is the ultimate goal. Stability is anything which challanges the bodies proprioceptive capabilites, or in lamens terms, balance. 

The reason I chose this exercise method, is because it incooporates every mucle in the body: both stabilizers and primary movers. In short when you have to use your total body to prevent you from falling over during any particular movement, you will most likely burn more calories than sitting on a machine. In addition, a lot of people do not practice this type of exercise so it is a nice shock to the muscles and can create change quite quickly.
